This 125,000 square foot new industrial facility was built for the production expansion needs of the leading producer of aluminum turbocharger wheels for engines.

Mary Rutan Hospital Emergency Department
Expansion & Renovation

  • 17,000 sq ft. renovation project plus the 17,000 sq ft. addition to the hospital totaled 34,000 square feet. The former emergency department was 3,300 sq ft.
  • State-of-the-art treatment areas, private entrance areas, as well as a centralized nursing station give patients the best attention and treatment needed.
  • Twelve new electrical panels were installed to distribute electric to the new addition and renovation. New conduit was added to the main electrical panel in order to distribute electric to the new panel rooms. A new transformer was added to maintain generator capabilities for the new electric panels. New nurse call and security/fire alarm systems were also installed.

Although challenging, this two-year electrical construction project was completed with minimal disruption of power to lift support equipment, other medical equipment, and the hospital's overall operations.
