To pursue a career in the electrical trades at Sollmann Electric Co., you need to enroll in an apprenticeship program approved by the State of Ohio Apprenticeship Council (examples: Ohio Valley Education Foundation – ABC (Associated Builders & Contractors).
The program consists of 144 hours of classroom training broken into 4 electrical levels taken over the course of 4 years. The other requirement is to complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.
Once you meet the classroom and on-the-job training requirements, you will earn journeyperson status through the State of Ohio Apprenticeship Council of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and U.S. Department of Labor.
